Our four-legged hotel-taxi

Nikki and Harto, our two Hafling horses, are responsible for every transport between the station of the funicular and our hotel, some 20 minutes uphill. They will also pull your luggage and up to three passengers - especially the children will enjoy the ride with horse and cart! Please be aware that there is only limited capacity in one horse power, and that the ride takes somewhat longer than it would in a motorized vehicle!

Nikki and Harto also show our faith and believe in the car-free resort of Braunwald. As the only hotel in Braunwald not using a motor car of our own, we do everything in our power to keep the amount of motorized traffic in Braunwald as low as any possible. While this means more work on our side, and at times demands a little patience on yours, we think keeping Braunwald as peaceful and free of noise and pollution as it is is well worth the effort.
